Are you a driven and skilled maintenance mechanic who thrives in a changing environment where safety and continuous improvement are in focus? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you to become a key player in the maintenance team at Stora Enso Packaging Solutions in Jönköping!

As a Maintenance Mechanic, your primary goal is to ensure high technical availability and operational reliability of the machinery. You will work with a wide range of machines, from older mechanical machines to modern converting machines.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing emergency and planned maintenance as well as repairs of mechanical equipment, both during shifts and during planned stops.
• Actively developing, planning, and executing preventive maintenance to proactively minimize unplanned downtime.
• Coordinating and planning repairs before maintenance stops together with the maintenance team.
• Actively contributing to a safe and good working environment.

The working hours for the position are set to two shifts. This means you will work day shifts Monday to Friday, between 06:00 and 14:00, and afternoon shifts Monday to Thursday, between 13:54 and 22:54.

We are looking for someone with a technical background and a strong interest in mechanics and troubleshooting. You are a team player with a problem-solving attitude who consistently focuses on safety and quality.

You have strong technical competence, either through education or solid professional experience in the process industry or similar larger industry. You should be accustomed to advanced troubleshooting and able to resolve mechanical faults quickly and efficiently. In this role, you are expected to master corrective and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment, including planning, as well as being able to perform necessary adjustments and calibrations to ensure optimal operation.

Experience with 5S/Lean and the SAP maintenance system is advantageous, as well as practical skills in turning and welding.

You must be able to work effectively under time pressure, be meticulous, and have very good knowledge of Swedish as well as proficiency in English.
